There are some times that being a photographer is work, most times it is awesome fun but this was an extraordinarily fun shoot with Andrew and Catherine at the Happiest Place on Earth. We even stayed at the park and had a great time in the park, for which I felt a little guilty for but what a great time. We look forward to shooting their wedding in January 2011 and reception at the Rio Hondo Country Club.
We shot at a new location and we were excited to shoot at the famous Wayfarers Chapel and then a great reception at the Welk Resorts. It was an absolute beautiful day and the wedding was fantastic. We had a great day with Amanda and Allan shooting at the historic Darlington House. This is a wonderful venue in La Jolla, San Diego.

Melissa and Chase had a fantastic day at Humphrey’s in San Diego for their wedding. Their wedding party and family were great fun and we had a fantastic time photographing their most special day. Congratulations Melissa and Chase… Melissa call us when you want to do the Trash the Dress!

Well except we quite nearly got mauled by the fricken terrible beasts wandering around the park. We survived and had a great time. We are looking forward to shooting their wedding on November 6th at St. Paul’s. Congratulations to Eric and Jenny.
Oh and we kinda, sorta broke the rules and climbed over a little obstacle (some might call it a fence) to get on the dock for pictures which apparently the Park Rangers found offensive. So we had to return to dry ground at their requests.
All was going great until the terrible and terrifying beast arrived in great numbers causing abject terror in all those in the park….. Well only me as I have been attacked and bit by just about every foul creature out there and I cant stand them. They were fine for a bit and then it all went crazy…
The leader of the petrifying pack of creatures, the black billed monster started honking at us, clearly we were invading the space he had allocated for his harem. You can see the abject terror on Eric’s face as they drew close.
You see this look here above and below, they are saying attack the big guy with the camera, we can eat him for days….
Actually they started to go after my wife and I had to literally start charging at this one to make it stop chasing Stacy. I would give my life for my wife but this was almost to much…. I was ready to abandon our gear and run like a little girl for the car.
After creating so much havoc in our heated exchange the beasts retired to cool down in the shower.
